Waziri wa Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia Profesa Adolf Mkenda kwa Mamlaka aliyopewa chini ya kifungu cha 59 cha sheria ya Elimu Sura 353 amepiga marufuku matumizi ya vitabu 16 vya ziada katika Shule za umma na binafsi nchini.

Vitabu vya 16 vilivyopigwa marufuku vimekutwa katika baadhi ya Shule si kama vitabu vya kiada wala ziada ambapo maudhui yake yanakinzana na mila, desturi na utamaduni wa Mtanzania na yanahatarisha ukuaji wa Wanafunzi ikiwemo vinavyofundisha mapenzi ya jinsia moja.

Hatua za kufuata unapopoteza kitambulisho cha Taifa

Mamlaka ya Vitambulisho vya Taifa (NIDA) imetoa maelekezo kuhusu hatua za kufuata mtu anapopoteza kitambulisho chake ili aweze kupata kitambulisho kipya.  NIDA imelazimika kutoa maelezo hayo baada ya mtumiaji mmoja wa mtandao wa kijamii kuhoji kwanini utoaji wa pasi za kusafiria za kielektroniki unakulazimu kuwa na kitambulisho cha taifa. Mtu huyo alihoji itakuwaje kwa wale watakaokuwa wamepoteza vitambulisho vyao na wanahitaji pasi za kusafiria.  NIDA wameeleza kwamba, yeyote aliyepoteza kitambulisho chake atatakiwa kutoa taarifa polisi lakini pia atalipia TZS 20,000 ambayo ni gharama ya kuweza kutengenezewa kitambulisho kingine.  “Fika kwenye ofisi yetu ya usajili Wilaya unayoishi /uliyojisajili, utapatiwa fomu kwaajili ya kupeleka polisi ili upatiwe loss report (taarifa ua upotevu), pamoja na fomu yenye namba ya akaunti kwaajili ya kufanya malipo ya TZS 20,000/= gharama za kuzalisha kitambulisho kipya.”  Aidha, NIDA wamesema baada ya kupatiwa taarifa hiyo ya ku...
