Idadi ya vijana wanao ambukizwa ukimwi kwa siku Tanzania

Kwa mujibu wa ripoti ya tathmini ya mazingira ya kisheria katika mwitikio wa Ukimwi iliyozinduliwa Desemba 01, 2018 katika kilele cha siku ya Ukimwi Duniani. Vijana 72 wa kike na 18 wa kiume wenye umri kati ya miaka 14 na 24 wanapata maambukizo mapya ya virusi vya Ukimwi (VVU) kila siku. 

Akielezea tathmini ya ripoti hiyo leo Jumatatu Machi 12,2018 na wadau wa masuala ya Ukimwi mjini Dodoma, Mkurugenzi mtendaji wa Tume ya Taifa ya Kuthibiti Ukimwi (Tacaids), Dkt. Leonard Maboko amesema tathmini hiyo ilibaini watu 81,000 nchini wanapata maambukizo mapya kwa mwaka ambayo ni sawa na wastani wa watu 225 kwa siku. 

Dkt. Maboko amesema tathmini imeonyesha kati ya watu 225 wanaoambukizwa VVU kwa siku asilimia 40 ambayo ni sawa na watu 90 ni vijana kati ya miaka 14-24. Na kwenye vijana hao 90 wasichana 72 huambukizwa kwa siku huku wavulana 18 pekee ndio huambukizwa VVU. 

Tathmini ya ripoti hiyo ilifanyika katika mikoa 11  ambayo ni Tabora, Katavi, Shinyanga, Mara, Dar es Salaam, Pwani, Mbeya, Rukwa, Njombe, Iringa na Ruvuma wakati kwa Zanzibar ilifanyika Unguja na Pemba.

Hatua za kufuata unapopoteza kitambulisho cha Taifa

Mamlaka ya Vitambulisho vya Taifa (NIDA) imetoa maelekezo kuhusu hatua za kufuata mtu anapopoteza kitambulisho chake ili aweze kupata kitambulisho kipya.  NIDA imelazimika kutoa maelezo hayo baada ya mtumiaji mmoja wa mtandao wa kijamii kuhoji kwanini utoaji wa pasi za kusafiria za kielektroniki unakulazimu kuwa na kitambulisho cha taifa. Mtu huyo alihoji itakuwaje kwa wale watakaokuwa wamepoteza vitambulisho vyao na wanahitaji pasi za kusafiria.  NIDA wameeleza kwamba, yeyote aliyepoteza kitambulisho chake atatakiwa kutoa taarifa polisi lakini pia atalipia TZS 20,000 ambayo ni gharama ya kuweza kutengenezewa kitambulisho kingine.  “Fika kwenye ofisi yetu ya usajili Wilaya unayoishi /uliyojisajili, utapatiwa fomu kwaajili ya kupeleka polisi ili upatiwe loss report (taarifa ua upotevu), pamoja na fomu yenye namba ya akaunti kwaajili ya kufanya malipo ya TZS 20,000/= gharama za kuzalisha kitambulisho kipya.”  Aidha, NIDA wamesema baada ya kupatiwa taarifa hiyo ya ku...
